Nein Nimmt! is a trick-taking card game for two players. Players attempt to score lowest by capturing 9s and avoiding as many other cards as possible.
Nein Nimmt! is played with a 36 card "stripped deck", any traditional 52-card deck that is pared down to Six through Ace in four suits.
Card play is traditional trick-taking must-follow, with cards played to the trick then played to a central display following strict placement rules. When certain conditions are met, rows in the central display "bust" and players are forced to collect cards, which give players points.
The player with the least points at the end wins the game.
