The Teams Courtyard (fan expansion for Carcassonne) (2020)

When the construction of that courtyard was completed, everyone realized that they were part of the same community. Something bigger than the mere sum of their individualities. Something that reunited them with an unprecedented force regardless of their origins, their beliefs, or their social stratum... at that moment they stopped competing and started helping each other, sharing the infrastructures and resources that this new and beautiful city was offering them. This commemorative tile was created by Carcassonne.cat for the first online team world championship of Carcassonne on the Boardgamearena platform (WTCOC 2020). • RULES FOR TILE PLACEMENT: This tile is mixed with the rest of the tiles in the game. The player who draws it can place it following the standard rules of the game. Note that the tile has the city on all 4 sides and these are joined at the corners (it's not a dividing tile, it's quite the opposite). The city that contains The Teams Courtyard tile will not take into account the regular system of who has the most meeples to designate who wins the points for that city (completed or not). You only need to have at least 1 meeple in order to get points from that city. The player who plays The Teams Courtyard tile will be able to place an additional farmer in the yard if he wishes to.
