Old Oak Hotel (2021)

Old Oak Hotel is a solitaire light-hearted fantasy strategy game with colored rooms, in the shape of Tetris, that the player must try to play on the board. The only caveat to placing a room is that it is filled with different races of creatures and each has its own "affinities", this greatly influences the amount of prestige you will achieve. The goal: Fill all three floors of the Hotel with Guests, taking into account their Affinities to obtain prestige stars and turn the Old Oak into a five star hotel!. Gameplay: Each turn you will receive a Guest who will want to stay in a room with a certain shape. To determine this roll 2d6 and use one result to define the kind of guest and another for the shape of the room, and then place it anywhere on the board that is empty. The game ends when all three floors are full or have no more empty space to draw Guest rooms. Released as part of the 8th BGG Roll & Write Game Design Contest.
