Cleave, also known online as Mak-Yek, is played on a checkerboard. Both players start with 16 soldiers that move like chess rooks. Capturing occurs via custodian or intervention methods, utilizing board edges as well. The game ends when a player has no legal moves remaining or is reduced to two or fewer soldiers.
