The Quest for El Dorado: Promo Pack (2018)

This promo pack for The Quest for El Dorado contains 3 new sets of cards for the game: Powerful Paddle (3 copies) Binoculars (3 copies) Brute (3 copies) This promo pack was originally available at Gen Con 2018 from publisher Ravensburger with Franz Vohwinkel artwork in both an English and German version. It was later made available in Spielbox 4 (end of July), 2018 and the BGG store. Beginning in 2019, this promo pack has slowly been released in a number of different languages with Vincent Dutrait artwork (Polish, Russian, Hungarian, Korean, Dutch, and English as of this writing). GAME RULES Set up the base game as usual. Add the three new expedition cards to the 12 card piles next to the market board. POWERFUL PADDLE Helps with crossing rivers. BINOCULARS Choose a card on the Market board and copy its effect as if you were playing it. Then remove the Binoculars from the game, but leave the chosen card on the market board. BRUTE You can't use this card to move onto a space with one or two symbols. Ignore any requirements of the target space (see Native). The Brute allows you to move onto a space which is occupied by another playing piece.
