Whist
Whist is a traditional trick-taking card game popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. Played in fixed partnerships without bidding, players aim to win more than six tricks to score points. The final dealt card determines the trump suit. Numerous variants introduce alternative rules, including bidding mechanics and predetermined trump sequences.
