In Lord of Conspiracy: Light and Darkness, players lead a team consisting of a hero and three lieutenants. The goal of the game is to find the Lord of Conspiracy or defeat all the Leaders responsible for the unrest in the kingdom. Players choose one of four teams such as dwarves, elves, halflings and humans. It is the player who decides which character in the team becomes his hero and what equipment the team has to start with. Unique equipment gives the player unique abilities. After choosing their hero, they must explore their world, have adventures, and collect testimonies and witnesses to in order to deduce who the Lord of Conspiracy is. The first player to do and - and to defeat his bodyguards - wins.
