The Kiba Trading Card Game is based on the television anime Kiba, but both were produced by Upper Deck Japan and released concurrently.
The player takes on the role of a "Shard Caster," a magic-user who casts spells (called Shards) and controls monsters called "Spirits."
The game has not been released outside of Japan, but the series has been released in English by ADV.
