Wars of the Roses (2017)

This is a strategic level wargame on the 15th century English civil wars. The game system is identical to Taiheiki. Players manage either the House of Lancaster or the House of York. Each leader counter represents historical kings, royalties and lords such Richard of York, Henry VI and Richard Neville. They affect battle, recruitment and area control. During each turn, players move alternately their units based on initiative. After all movement is ended, battles are resolved, area control is determined and new armies are raised. Victory is determined by victory points, gained mostly from area control.
