Sixth Tackle (1988)

A statistical game based on Rugby League. (For those that don't know, at the end of six tackles possession of the ball passes to the opposing side, which then has six tackles to try to advance up the field). In the designer's familiar style, teams are rated based on their performances in recent years. Various charts are used as dice rolls are compared to the action in that turn. The original Lambourne Games edition was published in 1988. The later version licensed to Owzat Games features team cards for the 1999 English domestic competition. An expansion based on the 2003 Australian National Rugby League competition is also available.
