You play as a Destroyer, one who was born and raised to violently oppress others to maintain the System of Power your people created to safeguard their dominance. To stop yourself from causing further damage, you have entered the spirit world to sever your spirit from its five attachments to the System. Guarding the attachments are five blue dragons, spiritual embodiments of the reasons motivating you cling to Destruction. You must defeat all these dragons if you hope to achieve your goal.
This game is played with the following materials:
1 six-sided die (1d6)
10 double-sided tokens, such as coins
1 standard 52-card deck
A journal or electronic writing space
The main inspiration for this game was the T.V. show Avatar: The Last Airbender, which features a subplot of Fire Nation exiles trying to stop themselves from doing more damage to everyone around them. The question this game seeks to answer is: what does the pursuit of moral accountability require from a person who has committed unforgivable acts of violence? This is a game about confronting the ugliness of your past and present, not to find personal redemption, but to fulfill the obligation to change your future.
