The Premise: The Candy King is dead. His long rule was one of wisdom and order except for his greatest oversight - he did not name an heir to his throne. In the wake of his demise the kingdom's most powerful denizens have risen up and taken arms against each other in an all-out battle for the throne. As one of Candy Kingdom's greatest warriors, it's up to you to bring peace to the land by crushing the competition and claiming the Candy King's throne. The Goal: Be the last surviving player on the board. The Basics: Each turn you get to both move around the candy-battle-themed board to strategically position yourself and you get to cast spells to affect gameplay. You cast spells by spending color square cards you draw each turn. Different colored spells have different effects. Red and yellow spell are for attacking. Green spells are for healing. Orange and Purple spells deal out advantages and disadvantages. Blue spells give greater freedom of movement. You can also combine different color square cards to cast unique spells, like an interrupt spell to block an attack. The game gets more interesting as candy monsters are summoned to the board, creating roadblocks that force the players into closer quarters.
