Like the original Scattergories, Scattergories Platinum Edition is a game of finding words that fit both fit the category and start with the letter it is supposed to. But instead of quietly writing down many words for many categories at the same time, players work in teams to yell out words while the timer ticks down. The categories change while the letter stays the same.

Everything you need is in the electronic game unit. The categories and letters come up at random.

There is also a game setting that changes the letter and keeps the category the same. And a setting where both change after every answer.
