Race against your opponent to form Sudoku! This version of Sudoku pits two players against each other in a contest to see who can form Sudoku first on the board by sliding chips.
The "Sudoku Slide" is a 2 players game. Players must race to see which one can arrange the tiles in "Sudoku" order - one of each, none repeated in 5 vertical columns and 5 horizontal rows first.
A real time game reminiscent of Alex Randolph's Square Off but using Sudoku as a basis.
Contents:
The Table
Frame
24 Blue Numbered Tiles
24 Red Numbered Tiles
2 Blank Tiles
2 Tile Storage Bags
How to Play:
Place the 24 Blue Numbered Tiles on one playing surface of the Table; and
The 24 Red Numbered Tiles on the other, all number face up.
One player mixes the Blue tile order while the other player mixes the Red tile order.
When both players are ready, turn the table around so that each player has the other set of tiles.
Begin to slide the tiles, using the empty space to arrange them in SuDoKu numerical order. That means, one of each, none repeated from number 1 - 5 on each Vertical Column and Horizontal Row. The Blank Space is "wild" and may count as any number.
The first player to accomplish the SuDoKu Slide must bring the frame down to the opponent's side and declare himself to be the winner. The other player may examine the tiles to confirm that they are in fact all in SuDoKu position. If in fact they are in SuDoKu position, the first player wins one point. If they are NOT in SuDoKu position, the challenging player wins 2 points.
Players may play as many rounds or for as many points as they agree upon. It is customary to play until a player wins 3 points for the short game or 11 points for the full game.
