The Scan Cycle Resource is a participation prize given to players who participated in "The Trouble with Tribbles" episode Organized Play Event. It is considered a Resource, and costs 5 Squadron Points.
When using this resource, you place 5 Scan tokens on it at the beginning of the game. Afterwards, once per round, when one of your ships performs an action, you can place of those tokens by that ship (even if it already has a Scan token). Once all 5 tokens are spent, the resource is removed from the game.
