In 量子カノジョ ("Quantum Girlfriend"), each player has one of six heroine cards on a stand, and they are the only player who cannot see which card it is. Each heroine card has three attributes: how good they are at studying, what she does after school, and her age. As the round progresses, players try to decide if the attributes in the center of the table apply to the heroine card that they cannot see. On a player’s turn, they either place an attribute card in the center of the table or call out “Observation!” If more than one attribute answering the same question are placed, they are stacked, creating the possibility that any of those attributes could be true.

Once “Observation!” is declared, all players look at their heroine card. If more than one attribute card of the same type are in the center of the table, those cards are shuffled and a random one is chosen to be included in the final attributes. If the final attributes apply to only one of the heroine cards in front of the players, that player receives 1 point. If the cards apply to more than one heroine card in play, then no player receives points. When a player receives their second point, they are the winner.
