Alzuhra lets you play a role-playing game instantly and without any preparation, using mechanics that are accessible to everyone. The story is split into 17 Nights of 30 minutes.
Before each Night, one of the players play a different role: Scheherazade. With the help of the story easel, she can:
Read the introduction and the first events of the Night.
Find the inspiration to react to the heroes' responses and the results of the dice to create new events.
Choose the conclusion of the Night.
As a hero, describe your own ideas for solving the adventures created by Scheherazade. You can use your character's painting to:
Find an object that can help you in your actions.
Get an extra dice if the chosen object convinces Scheherazade.
Roll 2 or 3 dices and get at least one green symbol to succeed.
At the end of each night you can pause the game or continue. You can also change who is Scheherazade, which will change your group of merchants. Finally, the choices you make and the conclusions you draw from your adventures will have impact on your next Nights.
