Based on the bestselling book from author Patrick Rothfuss: "The Name of the Wind - Sympathy Dueling" is a 2-player head-to-head battle using the book's unique magic system.

Players divide a standard 52‐card deck into a Red deck and Black deck. Each player takes a color deck and shuffles, and then deals 4 cards face up in a vertical line. These 4 cards represent the player’s “candle”.

The table area in front of the player is the player’s “mind”. Here they will be able to draw and play cards from their source deck.

To win, player's use their cards to "light" the opponent's candle by converting all 4 cards to their color.
