In the wee hours of the morning of October 28th, 1940 Benito Mussolini, representing the Fascist party that had overthrown the Italian government, offered an ultimatum to Greece to submit to their authority. This demand contained a long list of capitulations including allowing Axis forces to enter and occupy fundamentally any "strategic location" they felt was appropriate.
Summoning his inner Leonidas, Prime Minister Ioannis Metaxas' apocryphal response to the litany of demands was simply "Οχι" ... No.

The scenario is designed to represent the battle as a skirmish at 1 figure:1,000 men, for QILS rules using 25mm or 28mm figures on 1” bases. Fifteen millimeter figures on 3/4” bases can be used by using centimeters instead of inches.
And of course, instead of skirmish figures you could use 6mm or 3mm figures on 1" bases.
The scenario makes a small board that is nice for games in more restricted environs, while still capturing the top level command challenge.
The troops are specified for our free QILS skirmish rules. Guidelines are provided to convert to other systems.
