Followers is a hardcore eurogame combining two epic subjects — mythology and time travel.
In Followers, you become one of the mythological gods and travel to different epochs to convert as many people as possible to your faith. Make your Followers build the Symbols of Faith in your honor, using conjoint and finite resources of the planet.
On your turn, you can place your five Avatars (in the game they are represented by miniatures) on the empty space on the board and do a corresponding action. You can also pay resources to initiate the construction of the Symbols of Space or use your special God power. All of the above actions create powerful combos, making you more and more powerful.
The game play is tricky: resources used in the Past expire in the Present and Future. A unique electronic device helps to micromanage the whole process. Instead of counting, players just need to press a button.
The winner of the game is the player, who has converted the most Followers.
