Fanatical Boxers, The Chinese Imperial Army and a train bound Allied force battle it out on the way to Peking. Also featured are three scenarios from pre-European involvement where the Chinese Army tried to suppress the growing Boxer movement.
The scenarios:
1. Senlou Temple - October 18, 1899 Chinese Army vs. Boxers
2. Laishui Boxing Grounds - May 16, 1900 Chinese Army vs. Boxers
3. Boxer Revenge - May 18, 1900 Chinese Army vs. Boxers
4. Skirmish on the Rails - June 11, 1900
5. Anting Station - June 13, 1900
6. The Relief of Lofa Station - June 14, 1900
7. Cracker Guns - June 20, 1900
8. General Nieh's Pursuit - June 21, 1900
9. The Battle of Peitsang - June 21, 1900
10. Hsiku Arsenal - June 22, 1900
These scenarios are organized to be played using The Sword and the Flame, but can easily be adapted to any rules set. Units are set at 8 figures instead of the traditional 20. This allows for faster play, greater flexibility and ... your 20-figure units become 2½ units instantly! All scenarios are played ona 4x6' table. Give it a try!
