Square (1976)

The goal of Square is the collect points by making squares using pins on a board. Concentration and a bit of tactical insight are the only requirements for this game.

Each player gets 30 pins. A 6-sided die determines how many pins you have to use in your turn. You can only build on one square and points are given when a square is finished. All player get point for the number of pins they have contributed in the squares that are finised. The player that finishes a square gets a bonus.

While building finishing one square you are able to finish more squares. Possible squares for points are 3x3 bonus 5pt, 4x4 bonus 10pt and 5x5 bonus 15pt.

In the rules is a table that gives you the number of points you get for the pins in the square

To finish you need to throw the die and use all the pins (when you throw too higj the next player gets the turn).
After the first player all players have to continue building from that spot connected to the already placed pins in a manner to build valid squares (not allowd are 2x2 squares of double rows). The player with the most points wins.
