Kooksville The Game (2024)

Kooksville The Game is a surfing themed board game for kids 9+ to adults. Kook meaning someone who lacks the norms of surfing.


To play the game:
Players will choose their surfboard game piece then roll dice to navigate around the board. Some spaces are obstacles where the player must complete before continuing, others are challenges where they can challenge another player to roll a number of waves to catch. Once completed or if there are no obstacles, the player will pickup a card.

Players will gain or lose points depending on the card they draw. The first 3 players to finish gain additional points.

Finished? Don't get too comfortable! Even if a player is at the finish, they can be brought back in the game by a board swap or wave challenge!




Challenges include:

Wave of the day: player rolls to go left or right on the board.
Stingray: player rolls an even number to move forward or they lose points and stay on the stingray.
Board swap: player can swap boards and places with anyone on the board.
Wave Challenge: the player chooses another player to roll a number between 2-12, points are gained or lost and spaces depending on the outcome.
Wipe Out: the player who wipes out loses a turn.
