Whirl Out (1971)

In Whirl Out, luck and skill both come into play as players try to keep their marbles on the whirling wheel.

During the game, players spin to determine into which section of the 3-D wheel they must place one of their colored marbles. After the marble is placed into one of the marble holders on the wheel, the wheel will turn under the weight of the marble and will eventually come to a stop. The next player proceeds in the same way.

When the wheel rotates, some marbles may fall through the back of the wheel and down a marble return chute and into the return well, where the marbles are picked up by their respective players to be placed again, in turn.

If a player spins "Wipe Out" on the spinner, they place the steel ball in one of the empty marble holders. The weight of the steel ball can whirl the wheel back and forth several times before it comes to rest.

Players continue, in turn, to place their marbles on the wheel. When one player successfully places all of their marbles--and the wheel is at rest--that player wins the game.
