Dan Dare Magnetic Darts (1955)

Dan Dare Magnetic Darts was produced by Chad Valley and first promoted in the British Eagle comic magazine in August of 1955.

The game features a Steel target with the planets Earth, Mars, Mercury, Venus, the Moon and Saturn. These are the same as seen on the Dan Dare Rocket Target Set. Central to the target is Dan Dare the futuristic science fiction hero and Rigby, Dan Dare's loyal companion.

The target is set up on a tripod of wooden legs. Each dart is composed of a feather and a small magnet. Players throw the darts at the target to score points. If the darts land on Dan Dare or Digby then that player loses a point. The player with the highest accumulated points after a set number of throws is the winner
