Beaver House (2025)

Beaver House is a fast-paced and strategic family board game where players assume the roles of beaver builders competing to construct the perfect house for a particularly picky customer. Designed by Eddie Lee and published by Korea Boardgames Co., Ltd., this game combines quick thinking, precise placement, and a touch of luck.

With its charming artwork by Makoto Takami and dynamic gameplay, it invites players to balance speed with strategy as they arrange material tiles on their construction boards. Whether you’re racing to complete your board or planning your next move in apprentice mode, Beaver House offers an engaging experience for 2-4 players ages 8 and up, with games lasting around 20 minutes.

At the start of each round, an order card is revealed. This card specifies the placement rules for that round. Players then race to arrange their material tiles on their board to meet the conditions outlined on the order card (e.g., certain tiles cannot touch, or specific tiles must be placed in designated slots). The first player to complete their board grabs the hourglass and flips it, giving the other players a limited amount of time to finish. Once the time runs out, players check their boards in the order of completion. Only players who have correctly met the conditions win the order card. The first player to collect 4 order cards (or 3 in apprentice mode) wins and becomes the ultimate beaver builder!
