Остров сокровищ (Treasure Island) a game about treasure hunting. Players must first find three precious stones of the same color and bring them to the old pirate who will then give them a map. They must then go and find the treasure.
Players begin in one of the cities on the map. They select a path to travel on and roll a die. The number rolled is the total spaces they may move. When a player rolls a 4,5 or 6 they get a $100 bonus from the bank.
There are three modes of travel: land, sea, and air. Moving on land is free, moving by sea cost $200 per turn moving on it, and air cost $300 per turn. To transition from one type of mode to another costs $100. Air travel is from city to city.
Event cards (circular tokens) are gained by landing on them. They can also be purchased by being in proximity to them and paying a fee of $100 times the distance to the card. So, if I was three spaces away, I could pay $300 and get the card, or I could get closer and pay less. Cards have different abilities and can be bad or good. Some are worth cash, or cause the loss of cash, and some are colored precious stones.
Once the player acquires the three stones of the same type they must go to the pirate and obtain a map (card with a location on it). Once they reach the designated location on the map, all players roll a die. If the total value of the dice is even, then the map was real and the player wins. if not, the map was fake, and they must start the process all over again and bring the pirate (swindler) another three stones.
