Explore the underground dungeon in this solo rogue-like game. Control the hero with up, down, left, right, A, and B commands. Collect relics scattered throughout the dungeon while defeating monsters lurking in the darkness.

The game of まっくらダンジョン (Dark Dungeon) comes with a clear file, multiple dungeons on grid paper, and a "dicil" (combination dice and pencil). By moving a transparent area of the folder over a map, the player has limited visibility as they explore the variety of ready-made maps. You can download "DLC" maps online and even create your own. Players also choose a difficulty level for each game and randomly assign locations for the relics and monsters, creating more replayability.

On each turn, the player writes down the combination of commands they will activate that turn, using the directional arrows (movement), A (Attack), and B (Defend). Combinations of commands allow you to shoot arrows or dash. As you take turns, you lose stamina points but gain skill points, allowing you to strengthen your skills or take more actions. You further increase your abilities by gathering relics, which function both as victory points and useful items, like tools and weapons.

Are you ready to challenge the Dark Dungeon? You can compete in a time attack, gathering as many relics as you can before your timer runs out. Or you can aim for a high score and try to gather all the relics before leaving the dungeon.
