Battle for Naboo (2004)

“Battle between the Gungan & Federation Armies on Naboo. Takes place in the Star Wars Universe (Episode I). Each figure represents a Leader, Vehicle, or Unit of Troops. Victory: If the Shield Generator Beast is destroyed, the Robots win. The game ends automatically after you go through the deck twice when young Anakin destroys the Federation Carrier Ship, which shuts down all the Robots. The Gungan player wins at this time.”

The game is played on an 8x8 grid or chessboard. Miniatures or counters are used to represent the combatants. The Gungan Units include Jar Jar Binks, Gungan Generals, Shieldmen, Slingers, Cavalry, Catapults, and a Shield Beast. The Federation Units include Hover Tanks, Battle Droids, and Droidekas. Each unit is rated for hit points, movement distance, and attack range. The players draw a hand of cards from a common custom deck. Card play determines when units may move, attack, or defend.
