Prepare! (2021)

Prepare! is a family friendly, pandemic inspired card game. We love playing games. We wanted a card game that could make a little fun of the current pandemic. We took elements of the card games we love, added in the pandemic, and you have Prepare! (From the publisher)

Prepare! is played similar to "Go Fish," with a pandemic/lock down humor twist. Players each start with 7 cards, and play passes to the left. On each turn, a player draws a card and can match 3 of a kind (ex: face masks, water bottles, toilet paper, etc), and place it visible to other players once three of a kind are acquired. Once the three of a kind are placed down, they are your safe supply, and cannot be stolen or asked for anymore through the game. A player may receive and can optionally play an Action Card (steal a card, ask for a card, draw cards). Play continues to the left throughout the rest of the game, until all deck supply runs out. At the end of the game, the player with the most points from their three of a kind sets wins. (Optional for younger kids: you can count how many matching sets, and the person with the most sets win, as opposed to points).
