Age of Steam Expansion: 23 Wards of Tokyo, Oita Hot Spring Town & The Lost City of Dwarka features a trio of expansions for Age of Steam":
• 23 Wards of Tokyo is a map for 3-4 players. Players' actions are limited by the amount of Power they've stored up. In this dice-drafting variant for Special Action selection, Locomotive is powerful as always, but it comes at a steep cost, limiting your available action points.
The 23 wards of Tokyo—a bustling metropolis in constant need of energy. Players work to electrify the wards by expanding their web of power lines and distributing energy throughout the city. However, this demands a significant reserve of power, and financial strength alone won’t be enough. Will you manage your reserves wisely and keep the city alight, or become a slave to the power and plunge Tokyo into darkness? The choice is yours.
• Oita Hot Spring Town is a map for 3-5 players. Nestled in a valley off the eastern shores of Kyushu, Oita boasts the country's highest concentration of hot spring resorts. Player's work to unearth six hidden hot springs, each with their own unique blend of natural resources, attempting to visit all of them for a special bonus.
Nestled in the heart of Japan, Oita Prefecture boasts the highest concentration of hot springs in the country. In this map, you’ll explore and develop these unique thermal springs, transforming them into thriving hot spring resorts. Your mission is to create the most lucrative onsen enterprise, attracting tourists from far and wide to your retreats. Can you outshine the competition and establish Japan’s premier relaxation destination?
• The Lost City of Dwarka is a map for 4-6 players. In the multilevel map, players embark on an underwater expedition to excavate artifacts from the long-lost civilization in the sunken city of Dwarka.
The year is 1988. Inspired by the groundbreaking discoveries of S.R. Rao and his team, India’s National Institute of Oceanography dispatches elite diving teams to explore the submerged ruins of an ancient civilization beneath the Arabian Sea. Players lead these teams in a race to recover the most valuable and diverse artifacts from Dwarka, the legendary city founded by the revered Sri Krishna.
