This is the fourth edition of very popular Warhammer Fantasy Battles wargame, a radical change from third edition, with major changes to army composition, magic and unit attributes.

Warhammer Fantasy Battles is a tabletop game for two or more players where you command several armies from a huge range that goes from Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Undead, Orcs, Beastmen, Ratmen called Skaven, and other fantasy races. This starter set provides you with all the rules you need to play, a core for two armies, and guides you through collecting and painting your own army of Citadel miniatures.

The boxed set contains a 96-page softback Rulebook, a 96-page softback Battle Bestiary, a 24-page Warhammer Armies booklet, plastic miniatures from the High Elves (20 Spearmen, 20 Archers) and Goblins (32 Spearmen, 32 Archers) armies. It also contains plastic dice, as well as cardboard playsheets, units, buildings, templates, and magic cards - everything required to start playing.
