Glonk Le Choc des Aliens (2009)

Glonk Le Choc des Aliens is a small print (150 for the moment) game, self-published by a French designer. Rules are in French.

The game use the mechanics of the finger pitch to simulate a galactic war, each wood circular pawns representing a flying saucer. The mechanism of controlled pitch is the same developed in Pitch Bowl.

Each player control an armada and each armada consists of a spacial base and 8 to 12 flying saucers, with different powers :
- The Sinistrum Empire (malice, trickery),
- The United Worlds Organization (defense),
- The Zorgs (brutality),
- The Space Pirates (speed),
- The Little Grey Ones (technology,teleportation),
- The Invaders (number)
Each have their own powers to take the advantage.

The goal of the game is to destroy the other and reaching 7 points. You earn 1 point by killing an enemy flying saucer and 1 point for an enemy base.

For this, the flying saucers can project their opponents in the black hole or asteroids, use certain powers, boarding enemy ships or launch heroic assault against them.

The official blog ( http://glonk.sosblog.fr/) offer a campaign for two players based upon 1st trilogy of Star Wars : Pitch Wars.
