Tekhenu: Book of Challenges (2022)

The Book of Challenges contains 3 variants for experienced players, each adding a twist to the normal setup procedure and some additional flavor to the game play.

Ancient High-Tech
With this setup, each player receives a significant boost in the form of starting Technologies that synergize well with each other and a predetermined Decree. But do not let this powerful beginning trick you into believing that you can take a more relaxed approach to your actions. Quite the opposite! You must constantly stay alert to make sure no action goes to waste. Recommended for experienced players only.

Restricted, Yet Flexible
Here, you start with a distinctly unique Technology and a flexible blessing. This is countered by only being able to draft a single Starting card. You must exercise great care to ensure that your starting draft offers as much power and flexibility as possible. Of course, the other players will undoubtedly attempt to do the same. Recommended for experienced players only.

Wide Open Strategy
Powerful and balanced card sets and a much less restrictive Card Market truly opens up the game for a proper battle of strategic minds against each other. Recommended for experienced players only.
