coloWArs (2024)

coloWArs is a fast-paced card game for 2 or more players, ages 8 and up. Players take on the roles of the greatest spacetime painters, abducted by a mysterious entity and forced to compete in a magical tournament to the last brushstroke.

In coloWArs, players collect and play color cards to complete their canvas, strategically mixing primary and secondary colors. White magic aids their artistry, while black magic disrupts opponents' progress.

Gameplay is divided into rounds with four phases per player: exchange (optional), draw, action (optional), and discard. Players draft cards to build their hand, optionally exchanging unwanted cards, and then play color or magic cards to build their canvas. Tactically, some cards can be kept in hand to counter opponents' moves.

The first player to complete a perfect canvas with all primary and secondary colors wins instantly. Otherwise, when the shared deck is empty, the player with the highest total of points (indicated in the upper right corner of the cards) on their canvas at the end wins.
