Sichere Six (2022)

Sichere Six is the second entry in the "Nein Nine" series of trick-taking card games, and it introduces Fate's Mercy and Mirth. Players have the opportunity to stick their opponents with the painful penalty cards. If they feel brave, they can try to collect all of the penalty cards and bring down their opponents' scores even more. Sichere Six begins as a free-for-all. As the game progresses, temporary partnerships will form, backstabbery will ensue, and only one will escape Fate's game with the victory.

Over the course of no more than nine rounds, players will be trying to collect as many tricks as possible while avoiding dirty tricks that contain 9's.

During each round, the player who first collects a 9 becomes The Chosen and is granted Fate's Mercy. They get to exchange one card with the kitty. If they are feeling brave enough, they can try to collect all of the 9's and trigger the special scoring known as Fate's Mirth.

The first player to earn 9 points wins the game. If the game does reach the final round, the player with the highest score wins.
