Répáskert (2018)

Reckless rabbit rascals penetrate the Carrot Yard ("Répáskert"). The rabbits are trying to loot as many carrots as they can, competing with each other. But their hardest challenge is to avoid the two hostile mastiffs chasing them among the bushes.

Players control their own rabbit, and they also move the dogs. Their objective is to collect as many carrots as possible and to increase their scores by making the dogs bite the opponents’ rabbits. Everyone has a set of movement cards to direct the steps of the animals. One half of each card instructs the rabbit, the other half instructs the dog; players have to choose carefully which part to use and when.

Rabbits also leave droppings on the board, which obstruct movement: if a rabbit crosses or lands on a space where there is a dropping, it loses a carrot. Dogs don’t care about the droppings.

Répáskert (Carrot Yard) is an easy-to-learn, fast-paced family game. A party lasts 2-5 rounds, depending on the number of players. However, the game may end sooner if the upper limit of bites is reached or no more carrots are left on the board. The player with the highest scores wins the game.

Despite the theme, the the game requires some strategic thinking. Therefore it is recommended from 7 years of age, but it is real fun for the older generations as well.

Csibész nyulak vakmerő csoportja hatol be az óriás sárgarépáiról híres Répáskertbe, hogy akciójuk révén minél több zsákmányt szerezzenek. Egymás riválisai is egyben, de legfőbb ellenfelük az a két szelindek, akik mindenkit megmarnak, aki csak ismeretlenként beteszi a lábát.

A Répáskertben minden játékos a saját nyulát irányítja, de egyben ő a felelős a kutyák lépéseiért is. Üldözőt és üldözöttet ugyanazon lépéskártyák által irányítjuk – csak éppen a lap másik oldalával! Tehát egyszerre célunk minél több répát szerezni, de eközben a pontjainkat gyarapítja, ha lépésünk során az egyik kutyának sikerül elkapnia valamelyik konkurens nyulat.

Ugrándozás közben a nyulak bogyókat is elpottyantanak. Ezek akadályozhatják a mozgást; ha egy nyúl kénytelen átszaladni egyen, elveszít egy répát. A kutyákat bezzeg teljesen hidegen hagyják a nyúlbogyók!

A Répáskert könnyen megtanulható, gyors játék. Egy parti a játékosok számától függően legfeljebb 2-5 fordulóból áll, de ennél hamarabb is véget érhet, ha elfogy a játéktábláról az összes répa, vagy a harapások száma eléri a felső határt.
A legnagyobb pontszámmal rendelkező játékos lesz a nyertes.

A gyerekekhez szóló téma ellenére a játékban jelen van a stratégia, ezért elsősorban a 7 év felettiek számára ajánlott.
