Alfred Plesanton battles with J. E. B. Stuart's cavalry along the Ashby's Gap Turnpike, trying to determine where Lee's Army of Northern Virginia is going.

The game, now retitled: Last Full Measure: Plesanton's Reconnaissance is a free print-and-play game of the battles of Aldie, Middleburg, and Upperville, June 17th-21st, 1863; the fifth game in the LFM series of battles of the American Civil War.

A brigade scale game that uses regiment counters, as opposed to generic line markers, to spread the brigade over multiple hexes according to it's size. Ranged artillery fire, cavalry charges, command and control, all in only eight pages of rules. Play aids include Player-aid card with CRT and other charts and table; Eliminated Units card, Order of Arrival card, and 240 2-sided counters.

This map measures a long 82" x 24" at a scale of 250 yard per 3/4" hex. Printed at a reduced scale and 5/8" hexes will make it about 69" long.
