Game Setup


Place the game board flat.
Shuffle character cards, tactic cards, and treasure cards, placing them face down on designated spots on the board.
Place land deeds face up on the board.
Each player selects a game piece and places it at the starting point.
Players draw character cards, receive currency, and set up their initial forces.
Determine the starting player by rolling a die.
Gameplay proceeds in a clockwise direction.


Victory Conditions
The game ends when:


A player collects 8 land deeds or a predetermined number for victory.
A player collects a set of 4 land deeds of the same color (excluding ancient battlefields).
A player bankrupts another by landing on their territory without enough currency to pay the toll.
