Gar-Garouk is a game of dinosaur-to-dinosaur combat. Players select a dinosaur from the species provided: brontosaurus (sic), brachiosaurus, diplodocus (these all being treated as one type), stegosaurus, anklyosaurus, triceratops, allosaurus, and (of course) tyrannosaurus rex. They then plot their movement simultaneously, likewise for combat options when the dinosaurs meet up. Combat options (teeth, front claws, hind claws, etc.) are cross-referenced to determine which CRT column to roll on.

The contents consist of an 8.5"x14" rules sheet and an 11"x17" map. Counters were made by the players.

This Eagle Games was a subsidiary of Jagdpanther Publications, but "Jagdpanther Publications" appears nowhere in the game.
