L'Attaque
L'Attaque is a 1908 board game by Hermance Edan and an early predecessor to Stratego. Two players maneuver 36 hidden pieces on a 9x10 board to capture the opponent's flag. Combat reveals piece values, and the weaker piece is eliminated. The game heavily influenced several tactical board games.
