In Thoughtcrime, the group jointly creates a dystopia and a Tyrant, controlled by a game master. The remaining players play Rebels with skills. The game features tactical wagering in conflicts, character progression via experience points, and a structured way for the Rebels to gradually erode the Tyrant's power base and overthrow him.
