Altairian
Altairian is a checker-like strategy game based on SETI transmissions, played on a radial hex board. Players move Pods by orbiting adjacent pivot pieces. Isolated pieces freeze. Reaching the far side promotes a Pod to a War Pod (with capture abilities), and returning promotes it to a Death Pod. The goal is to scatter and immobilize the enemy fleet to win.
