'Grant's Early Battles is a collection of games about Ulysses S. Grant's first experience of command. Three battles are covered - Belmont, Fort Donelson and Shiloh. Belmont, and the single day scenarios of Fort Donelson and Shiloh can be played in two to four hours. The two larger battles also have multi-day actions which make for a challenging 6 to 8 hour games. Various alternative history options are included.

Three 11"x17" Game Maps (one for each battle)
432 9/16" pieces, representing historical combat units and unit or formation status markers.
Two Game Reference cards for each player
28 page color booklet of rules, play illustrations and detailed historical commentary.
