The Coach's Game (1996)

Football simulation touted as NFL strategy at its best! on the box. Simplistic game whereby each player selects a play (offense and defense) and the result is determined based on the plays picked. No randomizing or multiple outcomes, just very straightforward play. Contents: Game board (football field representation) Time clock disk for tracking game clock 10-yard marker Two offensive play books -- one run and one pass (actually fold-out cards listing a total of 48 play choices and the results of each when called against each available defense) One defensive playbook (10 defensive plays listed on a fold-out card) One special teams playbook/card 30 token football players (one each for the 30 NFL teams existing in 1996) Three stands One die One scoreboard One rulebook.
