User summary:
In this game, players move a king and 4 soldiers and compete with their pieces in a manner akin to Chess in order to take their king to their opponent's side of the board. If a player's king is taken during the course of the game, he loses.
As the name of the game suggests, the game's greatest distinguishing feature is the fact that pieces are moved by being skipped over "skip stones", which can be freely arranged on the board. In contrast to the player’s own "skip stones", the opponent's "skip stones" act as barriers, preventing pieces from moving over them. The skip stones themselves can also be moved in a turn.
Strategy involves effectively using "skip stones" to create useful formations.
