Masterchef Family Cooking Game (2021)

Players choose a Cooking Challenge, which consists of 2 related recipes (e.g. breakfast, burger night). Each team includes a head chef (adult) and at least 2 sous chefs (child). Each recipe includes an Ingredients card, 3 Mystery Ingredients cards, 3 Mad Skills cards, a number of recipe cards, 3 Game Change cards, and a Judge’s scorecard. Place these cards on the corresponding spaces on the board. Teams then proceed around the board resolving cards. Mystery Ingredients cards are blindfold taste/smell tests. Mad Skills req performing a cooking task (e.g. chop a pickle slice into 4 even pieces), answering a question, etc. When a team reaches the Recipe space, they follow the instructions on the recipe card, actually making the recipe with real ingredients. 3 steps will require team to draw a Game Changer card, which adds an additional challenge. When a team reaches the Judge’s Scorecard, they judge their own recipe using the criteria on the card.
