Smugglers and Cruisers is a 1930's game where one players plays a smuggler trying to evade the revenue men along the remote Northern Australian coastline. A second player has 5 revenue men to try and surround the Smuggler so he cannot move. If the Smuggler can evade the revenue men and reach one of several caves on the Northern Australian shore he is the winner but if he is trapped by the revenue men then the other player wins the game.
Produced in Australia by the National Game Company in Ballarat and credited as Australia's first large scale manufacturer of board games. The game came in two sizes a larger square box and board and a smaller rectangular box.
