Object of Rugger is to score tries, convert tries and ultimately win the match. First Strike: A scuffler (plastic disc) is used to send the rubber ball down the table. Second Strike: From the position where the scuffler stops, strike it again.If the scuffler stops with a portion hanging over edge of your opponents end, you score a try (5 points). If the scuffler does not have a portion over the edge, or goes off table completely, play moves to opponent. Converting the try: If try is scored player gets opportunity to convert try In direct line of where ball scored a try - anywhere from goal-line to half way flag ball is loaded onto kicker (stand that is used as a flicker). Ball must go between wooden goal posts to score 2 points, miss gets no points. Play swaps to opponent. The game has a time limit of 10 mins (2 x 5 minute halves).
