Fantasy wargame reminiscent of "Warhammer" that can be played with the provided counters but is designed to be played with miniatures. On the world of Eorthe, each faction controls one of the magical Eorthewells; most who drink of the Eortheblood that rises from them die, but a few become magic-users. Now the Eorthewells are drying up -- what a perfect excuse to have a planet-girdling war! Approximate playing time is totally arbitrary and will depend on army size and number of players. Maximum players is listed as six only because that's the number of factions described in the core book: Theofas (continental humans), alefs (elves), dhurgoths (dwarves), the Forgotten (humans with dinosaurs), Selicum (mixed-race islanders with sea creatures), and Swaerthan (Chaos/undead). More than six players could participate if armies were very small, if armies were controlled by teams, or if the players wanted to take a couple days off to do nothing but play.
